Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), certified Person Centered Practitioner, certified Death Doula, and Certified Art Therapy Practitioner with more than 28 years experience. I work with people experiencing concerns including grief, loss, end-of-life planning, anxiety, stress, coping, trauma, and improving self-care. My style is warm, reflective, and engaging. I am here to help you think through changes you may want or need to make, and to support and empower you.

My approach to therapy

I believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect. I employ person centered skills, reflective approaches, and motivational interviewing-style skills to listen and learn what is important to you and where you seek balance and alignment in your life. I always keep the core of what is important to you in mind when we work together. I don't like to use labels and feel they limit us all. I will customize our time together and your treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

What you can expect from me

My counseling style is casual (like a chat over coffee). I am supportive, warm, caring, and compassionate...even funny! I will help you sort and prioritize goals for making life better and assist you to sort through things that are difficult. I help identify your strengths and capacities for overcoming obstacles and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment. I want to assist you to create the meaningful and purposeful life you want for yourself.
