Great to meet you!

Life can be challenging, and sometimes we all need a space where we can slow down, feel heard, and begin to heal. As a Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) in Maryland with more than 20 years of experience, I help children, adolescents, and adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life's many transitions. I believe therapy should feel like a partnership built on trust, compassion, and practical strategies that help you move forward with confidence and hope.

My approach to therapy

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don't have to face life's challenges alone. I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker–Clinical (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland with over 20 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy to children, adolescents, and adults.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, life transitions, behavioral concerns, and other emotional challenges. I believe every person has the capacity for growth and healing when provided with the right support, tools, and therapeutic relationship.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I strive to create an empathetic environment where clients feel safe expressing themselves and exploring the experiences that have shaped their lives. My primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which helps clients recognize unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and make meaningful changes that improve daily functioning. I also tailor treatment to meet each client's unique strengths, needs, and goals.

Whether you're seeking support for yourself or your child, my goal is to help you build resilience, strengthen emotional wellness, and develop practical skills to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside my clients on their journey toward healing and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

What to Expect During Your First Session

Your first session is all about getting to know each other. It's a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll discuss what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope to achieve. I'll also ask questions about your personal history, relationships, and strengths so I can better understand your unique experiences.

This is also your opportunity to ask questions, share any concerns, and decide whether we're a good fit. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful, with a clearer understanding of how we can work together to help you reach your goals. There is no pressure to have all the answers—just come as you are, and we'll take the next steps together.
