Great to meet you!

Clients should know that I’m both compassionate and direct, I listen deeply but also tell the truth (kindly). I take a comprehensive approach to mental health that blends psychiatry, therapy, and integrative medicine. My focus is on understanding the whole picture—how your mood, body, sleep, and stress all connect. I’m passionate about treating mood disorders, trauma, and bipolar spectrum conditions, and I tailor each plan to fit your life, not the other way around. My sessions are structured but conversational, evidence-based but human. You can expect a safe space, clear communication, and maybe even a laugh or two along the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, direct, and collaborative. I combine the science of psychiatry with a holistic perspective that treats the whole person, mind, body, and brain. I believe in honest conversations, practical solutions, and care that feels human, not clinical. My style blends evidence-based medication management with integrative strategies like nutrition, stress regulation, and mindfulness. I have a particular passion for working with mood disorders, trauma, and bipolar spectrum conditions. Clients often describe sessions as insightful, balanced, and even a little humorous, because growth is easier when you feel comfortable being yourself.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a first session that’s equal parts clinical, conversational, and human, with a little humor sprinkled in. We’ll take time to explore your symptoms, medical and mental health history, lifestyle factors, and treatment goals. I’ll review any previous medications, discuss how psychiatric medications work in the brain and body, and explain options clearly, no jargon, no pressure. Because I take an integrative approach, we’ll also talk about nutrition, sleep, hormones, and stress, since those can influence mood just as much as chemistry can. Together, we’ll create a plan that may include medication, therapy, and realistic lifestyle adjustments. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling informed, understood, and optimistic—with a plan that fits your life, not the other way around—and maybe even a laugh or two along the way.
