Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical social worker and trauma therapist with over a decade of experience supporting children, adults, and families impacted by trauma, systemic stress, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in trauma-responsive care, including art therapy, bibliotherapy, maternal mental health, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), and the treatment of problematic sexualized behaviors. My work is grounded in culturally responsive, community-based, and (W)Holistic WellnessTM approaches that honor the mind, body, spirit, and lived experience of each client.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, my responsibility is to create an environment that is calm, respectful, and emotionally safe. We will focus on building rapport, understanding what brought you to therapy, learning about your strengths, stressors, and setting goals at your own pace. There is no pressure to share more than you are ready to. I will explain how I work, answer questions about the therapeutic process, and collaborate with you to identify next steps that feel supportive and realistic. The session is less about “fixing” and more about creating a grounded foundation where you feel seen, heard, and supported as a whole person.
