Great to meet you!

The world can be a challenge when we are not valued! Hi, I'm Tara Dawn, a mixed race cisgender woman who is a licensed trauma informed therapist in North Carolina. I work with adults choosing to explore how they are living their life and where they may want to create a more comfortable life for themself. My goal is to assist individuals to find balance in their daily life and ease stress and anxiety. I believe we all have innate strengths, and my approach uses your strengths first to cultivate a safe space together to explore where support may be needed. I use direct communication and empathy as a guiding principle.

My approach to therapy

Don't like setting in an office talking to a therapist? GREAT, lets meet outside in the fresh air and talk while we walk or sit on a bench. Greenway therapy - Join me for a walk while we talk about what your needs are and how to create a more comfortable life. Available for virtual in North Carolina or in person sessions in the Greater Asheville area.

What you can expect from me

I work with folks who: -Are willing to be vulnerable and courageous -Are neuro-diverse individuals and from all spiritual traditions -Are willing to focus on their strengths as resources to support and overcome challenges.
