Hello. My name is Tasha Burnette, owner of Nu Generation Mental Health Services, PLLC. I would like to introduce myself by first providing information on my education and background. I received my B. A. in Psychology from Hollins University in 2002 and my M. A. from Liberty University in 2013 and my Ed.S in 2017. I currently licensed in the states of NC, VA, P, WV, and KY. I have 11 years of counseling experience in the community/acute setting, day treatment programs, school counseling and private practice.

My approach to therapy

Some of my areas of additional trainings include: Substance Abuse and Recovery, Behavioral Therapy with Children, Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Anxiety and Depression, TraumaTherapy, Adolescent Bullying and Depression, and competence in working with LBGTQI & Communities.
