I am the owner and provider of Unique Minds Psychiatry-The Women’s Depression & Anxiety Clinic. At Unique Minds Psychiatry-The Women’s Depression & Anxiety Clinic we focus on the mental health and wellness of Women exclusively.
At Unique Minds Psychiatry-The Women’s Depression & Anxiety Clinic I focus on providing integrative psychiatry, psychotherapy, and medication management services via telehealth.
I specialize in creating personalized treatment plans to support Women with both acute and chronic signs and symptoms. I also treat co-occurring disorders such as bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, stress & burn out, PTSD, OCD, and sleep disturbances.
Clients can expect to be openly engaged in their own care. I believe in actively involving client engagement to promote stabilization, self-care, accountability, and overall wellness.
Mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety can affect anyone at any time. However, it is important to understand that Women are particularly susceptible to these mental health challenges and are likely to experience depression and anxiety more than men. Unfortunately, depression is the leading cause of disease burden among Women. The same is true for anxiety, with anxiety generally being considered more prevalent and potentially more severe in Women compared to men.
