Great to meet you!

I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, understood, and not judged. My goal is to create a space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing while we work together to better understand the patterns, stressors, and emotions that may be affecting your life.

I take a compassionate, trauma-informed approach and often help clients understand how past experiences, stress, and nervous system responses influence the way we think, feel, and relate to others. I value authenticity in the therapy space and believe meaningful change happens when clients feel supported while also being gently challenged to grow.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I work with clients to better understand how their thoughts, emotions, past experiences, and stress responses influence their current patterns and relationships.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while also incorporating nervous system–informed strategies. Together, we focus on building insight, strengthening coping skills, and creating meaningful changes that support emotional well-being and healthier relationships.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable and supportive space where you can begin sharing what has brought you to therapy. We will talk about what you’ve been experiencing, any challenges or stressors in your life, and what you hope to gain from counseling.

I’ll also ask some questions about your background, current concerns, and any goals you may have for therapy. This helps me better understand your experiences so we can begin identifying the best path forward together.

There is no pressure to share everything at once—therapy moves at your pace. The first session is about getting to know each other and starting to build a foundation for a collaborative and supportive therapeutic relationship.
