Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Taylor. I work with teens (16+) and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety or depression, moving through life changes, or simply trying to better understand themselves. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up exactly as you are — without pressure or judgment — and have the space to sort through what’s on your mind.

Since earning my master’s degree in 2019, I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings with diverse age groups and presenting concerns. Those experiences have given me meaningful insight into how differently challenges can show up from person to person — and how important it is to approach each individual with flexibility and openness. Working across environments has strengthened my ability to meet clients where they are and adapt my approach to fit their unique needs.

Something important to know about me is that I value authenticity. I show up as a real person in the therapy room — thoughtful, engaged, and genuinely invested in the work we’re doing together. I believe growth happens in the context of a safe and trusting relationship, so I prioritize creating a space where you feel respected, heard, and understood.

I also believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role isn’t to tell you who to be or what decisions to make, but to support you in gaining clarity, building insight, and developing tools that feel aligned with who you are. I approach this work with curiosity, compassion, and deep respect for each person’s pace and story.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, we’ll take time to explore your experiences, notice patterns, and better understand how your past and present connect. I approach therapy with curiosity, openness, and a deep respect for each person’s story. My goal is to help you build insight, recognize your strengths, and find ways of moving forward that feel more aligned with who you are.

Growth rarely happens overnight, and I don’t believe in rushing the process. Instead, I focus on creating a supportive and collaborative relationship where you feel comfortable moving at your own pace. Therapy with me is about having someone alongside you as you navigate challenges, discover new possibilities, and build a life that feels more balanced and meaningful.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a space that feels welcoming, steady, and free of pressure. My priority is getting to know you — what’s bringing you in, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’re hoping might feel different in your life. There’s no expectation to share everything all at once. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I’ll likely ask some questions to better understand your experiences, your current challenges, and any patterns you’ve started to notice. At the same time, I want you to have room to ask questions too — about me, about the therapy process, or about what working together might look like.

The first session is less about “fixing” anything and more about beginning to build a foundation. My hope is that you leave feeling heard, respected, and a little less alone in whatever you’re carrying. From there, we’ll start shaping a path forward together in a way that feels thoughtful and collaborative.
