Great to meet you!

I specialize in supporting women through the unique emotional challenges of PMDD, pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. I understand that sometimes you can look like you’re “doing fine” on the outside while feeling overwhelmed, anxious, irritable, disconnected, or unlike yourself on the inside.

My goal is to create a space where you can be honest without judgment. You don’t have to have the right words or know exactly what you need from therapy. We can figure that out together. I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can finally take a breath, feel understood, and focus on yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in both evidence-based treatment and genuine connection. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and person-centered therapy, tailoring treatment to your individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

For clients experiencing PMDD or perinatal mood and anxiety concerns, I also focus on understanding patterns in mood, thoughts, anxiety, irritability, and life circumstances. Together, we can identify what is within your control, develop practical coping strategies, and build skills that feel realistic for your everyday life.

I want therapy to be a place where you feel heard while also leaving sessions with a better understanding of yourself and tools you can actually use.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to tell me what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been happening in your life, what you’re struggling with, and what you would like to be different.

If you’re experiencing PMDD or perinatal mood and anxiety symptoms, we’ll also begin looking at how your symptoms may connect with your menstrual cycle, pregnancy, postpartum experiences, relationships, stress, and other factors.

You don’t need to come in with everything figured out. We’ll take it at your pace, answer your questions, and begin identifying goals for therapy together. My hope is that you leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the possibility of feeling better.
