Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) with experience in hospital, outpatient, and child welfare settings. I specialize in trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and the treatment of mental health and substance use disorders, using evidence-based approaches to support lasting change. My background includes suicide risk assessment, family work, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped with practical tools for healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, structured, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I primarily use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychoeducation, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients build practical skills for managing emotions, improving thought patterns, and navigating challenging situations. I also incorporate interpersonal approaches to strengthen relationships and communication, while exploring underlying factors that contribute to current concerns.

With a strong background in crisis intervention and risk management, I prioritize safety, stability, and creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel comfortable working toward meaningful and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and building a foundation of trust. I’ll ask about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any relevant background, while also answering any questions you have about the process. We’ll review things like goals, expectations, and confidentiality, and begin identifying what you’d like to get out of our work together.

My goal is to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and supported, while starting to develop a plan that fits your needs and priorities.
