Great to meet you!

“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.”

I am a licensed clinical social worker in the state of North Carolina with experience working with individuals, couples, and families. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, and career challenges.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is a holistic approach with evidence based treatments (EBT) that are tailored to the presenting concern, personal history, and individual strengths. I am a therapist who talks during session, often providing feedback and perspective, while encouraging you to develop your own hypotheses and insights. You are the expert in you, while I serve as your guide in developing a deeper understanding of yourself.

What you can expect from me

During the first few sessions, both short term and long term goals will be discussed to ensure focus and progress. Together we will also decide if we are a good "fit," as this is an imperative part of the overall process.
