Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Temesha, and I am a Christian-based counselor passionate about helping women overcome life's challenges through the lens of faith and psychological principles. I specialize in assisting women with navigating identity and relational issues and developing greater self-worth. I am a fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in the helping profession for over 6 years.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is gentle yet challenging. I maximize my client's strengths while encouraging them to grow in areas that need to be developed. I often help resolve incongruence between what a client says they want and their actions. I aim to equip my clients with the skills to make wise decisions. I am very person-centered and believe that much of the solution already lies in the client. Therapy is a collaboration, and I partner with my clients to help them reach their goals.

What you can expect from me

My clients often report feeling lighter and having a keener sense of clarity and direction after sessions with me. With the combination of evidence-based practices as well as spiritual insight provided within sessions, clients usually experience an alleviation of the symptoms of their presenting issue within 2 -3 months of consistent therapy.
