Great to meet you!

I have a wide variety of counseling experiences which includes persons with disabilities, college counseling, crisis intervention, stress management, and treating trauma. I love animals (I have 4 cats) so invite your fur baby to our virtual session! A friend called me a Renaissance woman because I have so many interests: art (painting and crafting), yoga, house plants, and creative writing.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapy style is humanistic which means warm, nonjudgmental, and empathetic. Amongst other stress reduction tools, you will learn that laughter is an important part of therapy. It lowers anxiety and decreases physical symptoms of tension. Depending on your needs, I use expressive arts techniques and/or trauma focused hypnosis and EMDR.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients will walk away from sessions feeling empowered with coping strategies and tools to confront their problems. They will feel like there is hope for healing.
