Great to meet you!

I see my role as one of therapist, guide, educator, and cheerleader on your road to healing. With your cooperation, and when necessary, that of other treatment specialists, it is my promise that we will do everything possible to help you feel better. My passion is counseling adults, especially women, who are coping with DEPRESSION, with GRIEF, with CHALLENGES and TRANSITIONS, and supporting them in the EMOTIONAL CHALLENGES that may follow.

My approach to therapy

My two-pronged job is to provide you with support, but also challenge. I am interactive and enjoy interjecting humor into sessions. Following the existential philosophy and borrowing techniques from Gestalt Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Reality Therapy, I will coach, encourage, and challenge you to find the freedom you are seeking and to help you manage the anxieties of life in accordance with your values.

What you can expect from me

I believe that persons seeking counseling for any reason are asking themselves, “Who am I?” My goal is to help you better understand your human experience so that you find the freedom you are seeking, learn to manage life's anxieties, and commit to your values based on your growing self-awareness. There is exciting potential for growth that comes our way through challenges.
