Great to meet you!

I have been a therapist for over 15 years and have experienced many of life’s transitions myself. I have raised five children, experienced marriage and divorce, navigated a blended family, been a teen parent, and later a parent of teenagers and young adults. My journey back to school was initially driven by a desire to better understand myself and my own experiences. What I discovered was the freedom that comes with self-acceptance—the realization that we are all imperfect, that struggles and mistakes are part of being human, and that growth often begins when we approach ourselves with compassion rather than judgment.

My approach to therapy

I believe the therapeutic relationship is a powerful part of healing. Early relationships shape how we view ourselves and connect with others. Therapy provides a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your experiences, gain insight, and grow through empathy, honesty, compassion, and a supportive therapeutic relationship.

What you can expect from me

My approach is person-centered because I believe you are the expert on your own life. Therapy begins with understanding what brings you in and what matters most to you. Together, we identify your strengths, explore what is working and what may be keeping you stuck, and create meaningful changes that align with your values, priorities, and goals.
