Great to meet you!

I understand that finding the right therapist can feel big and overwhelming. My hope is that this brief introduction will offer you a sense of who I am and how I might walk alongside you and/or your family members in your journey toward healing and growth. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Minnesota, with over 20 years of experience supporting adults, adolescents, couples and families. I have worked extensively with concerns around stress/anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and the weight of grief and loss. It is my goal to create a trusting and relaxed atmosphere where you feel comfortable totally being yourself, knowing you can rely on me to be a trusted voice.

My approach to therapy

I see our time together as an opportunity to remind you that you are valuable, unique, and help you realize that you are strong enough to handle whatever is in your path. We will do this together, working collaboratively, taking things one step at a time, and working at a pace that feels right for you. Progress doesn’t have to be perfect; sometimes it just takes the strength to begin the first few steps.

If you're looking for a faith-based perspective, I also offer the option of integrating Christian life-coaching and biblical insight into our work, always based on your preference and comfort.

What you can expect from me

It is my goal that after our time together, clients feel heard, seen, and understood. Together, we'll explore your thoughts, values, and relationships, helping you to leave feeling more equipped to navigate the challenges and questions you are carrying,
