Great to meet you!

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Socially worker, living in TX. I have spent 20 years of my career working in community mental health with severely persistently mentally ill adults. However, two years ago I transition to providing therapy via telehealth platforms. I work with adults 18+, across various demographics including age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status. My role involves helping my clients to develop effective coping skills to manage anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other difficulties that arise throughout life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is reflected by the quote “Many hands make light work”, this quote reminds us that the load we carry is lighter when shared, especially in an empathetic, supportive, and nurturing environment. In my opinion, therapy works best with a collaborative approach, the treatment modalities that I utilize (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered, and Exposure Response Prevention) promotes collaboration between therapist and client.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will explore the events or challenges in your life that led you to seek therapy. From there, we will identify goals and create a treatment plan that will serve as the foundation for future sessions.
