Great to meet you!

I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Washington in 2009. After serving nearly four years in the Army, I pursued a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northwest Nazarene University. I was initially licensed in 2019 and became a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in 2024 after completing advanced supervision and examination requirements.

My professional background has shaped a grounded, practical approach to therapy. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, anger management concerns, life transitions, and challenges related to meaning and purpose. I have particular experience supporting veterans and individuals navigating high-responsibility roles.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Logotherapy together to help clients explore patterns, solve problems, and build intentional plans for change. My goal is to help you move forward in ways that align with your values and long-term goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Logotherapy. In sessions, we examine thoughts, behaviors, and decision-making patterns while also exploring deeper questions about meaning, purpose, and direction.

I encourage clients to take ownership of what they can control while learning to release what they cannot. Therapy with me is collaborative and goal-oriented. My style is direct, open, and honest. I will challenge you when it serves your growth, and I will support you when the work feels difficult.

We focus on practical tools, measurable progress, and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we will review informed consent and ensure you have space to ask any questions about the therapy process.

We’ll explore what brought you to seek support, discuss the frequency and severity of symptoms, and begin identifying goals. Together, we’ll start building a treatment plan with clear, specific, realistic objectives. While the plan may not be finalized in the first session, you can expect to leave with a clearer understanding of next steps and a sense of direction for our work together.
