Great to meet you!

Great to meet you! My name is Tessa, and I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor. Maybe you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally drained, or disconnected. Sometimes you may not even be sure why you’re struggling—you just know that things feel harder than they should and you want something to change. I work with adults navigating the effects of complex trauma, ADHD, autism, and challenges with anxiety, mood, relationships, and everyday life.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, we'll slow things down and make space to understand what's happening beneath the surface—your thoughts, emotions, patterns, and even the ways your body responds to stress. I’ll meet you with curiosity rather than judgment, while also offering practical tools to help you feel more grounded and better able to respond to what life brings. Together, we’ll identify what you want to work toward and build a path that fits your needs, whether that means developing a deeper understanding of yourself, navigating difficult emotions, strengthening your relationships, or moving forward with greater self-compassion and confidence.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to share what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what you hope to get from therapy, and what feels most important to you right now. You won’t need to have everything figured out—we’ll work together to understand where to begin.
