Great to meet you!

I'm Tessa, a licensed clinical social worker who supports adults through trauma, anxiety, PTSD, depression, and the weight of everyday stress. Clients often tell me our sessions feel less like “therapy” and more like talking to someone who truly gets it — warm, down-to-earth, and occasionally funny, because healing doesn't have to feel heavy all the time.

My approach to therapy

I draw on CBT, DBT, and body-based (somatic) techniques, along with strengths-based and trauma-focused approaches, and tailor my style to what you actually need — not a one-size-fits-all plan. We'll work collaboratively, at your pace, to help you understand your patterns and build tools that actually stick.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting comfortable — no pressure to share more than you're ready to. We'll talk through what's bringing you to therapy, get to know each other, and start mapping out what you want to work toward. You'll leave with a clearer sense of what our work together will look like.
