Dr. Al-Khateeb is board-certified through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

He completed his psychiatric residency training at Harlem Hospital Center, affiliated with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. There, he served in an administrative chief resident role, a position that requires both teaching and responsibility for providing clinical performance supervision to resident trainees.

Dr. Al-Khateeb also trained at East Tennessee State University, where he was a research assistant in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He is the author of both research articles and book chapters.

Dr. Al-Khateeb is welcoming new patients and is experienced in working with adult patients

of diverse ages and backgrounds in outpatient settings.

Dr. Al-Khateeb enjoys building strong, trust‐based relationships with patients and is passionate about patient-centered care, along with encouraging patients to optimize their overall health and well-being through adopting and implementing healthy lifestyle interventions.
