Great to meet you!

I earned a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, after which I worked with adolescents doing wilderness therapy, then in a school setting. I just finished approximately 4 years of work with adults in community mental health.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I focus on shifting your relationship with your "self" through warmth, inquisitiveness, and somatic approaches. I use a wide range of counseling forms, with a mixture of cognitive therapy, mindfulness-based approaches, and always focus on self-compassion and self-exploration.

What you can expect from our first session

I want to assist others in first seeing our inner experiences more clearly and compassionately. This typically begins with some basic stress regulation skills - because our minds are embodied in our physical form. I then work with my clients to find a workable mixture of both shifting our inner experiences as well as simultaneously not being so enmeshed with all of our problematic thoughts and feelings.
