Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor working with adolescents and adults, including those navigating the pressures of high-stress work (healthcare, first responders, law, executive roles) and those working through a recent ADHD or autism diagnosis, often after years of wondering why things that seemed to come easily to others never quite did for them. My work is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which focuses less on eliminating discomfort and more on building a life that holds up even when discomfort is present.

My approach to therapy

I take a direct, collaborative approach rather than a passive one - you won't spend sessions just talking while I nod along. ACT gives us practical tools for working with difficult thoughts and feelings without getting stuck in them, so we can spend more energy on what actually matters to you: your relationships, your work or school life, the kind of person you want to be under pressure. I bring a steady, grounded presence to sessions — no judgment, no assumption that you need to be "fixed," just a real conversation about what's genuinely going on and what might help. I adjust my approach depending on age and stage of life, but the core of the work stays the same regardless of who I'm sitting with.

What you can expect from me

The first session is mostly about getting oriented - I'll ask about what's brought you in, what's been happening in your life, school, or work, and what you're hoping is different down the road. There's no pressure to have it all figured out or to tell your whole story at once. By the end, we'll have a shared sense of what to focus on together and what our work might look like going forward.
