Great to meet you!

I am a Maryland Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical, dedicated to supporting individuals through life's challenges with compassion and expertise. As a proud veteran of the Iraq War (2005-2006), I bring a unique understanding and empathy to those who have served, along with a commitment to serving all communities.

I hold a Master of Social Work Degree with a primary concentration in Clinical Practice and a specialization in Health—Child, Adolescent, and Family Health (CAFH)—from the University of Maryland School of Social Work.

My practice welcomes adults from 18 to 65+ years old. I am especially dedicated to serving veterans, service members, LGBTQ+ individuals, new mothers, and older adults. Whether you're navigating mental health concerns, life transitions, or seeking personal growth, I provide a safe, non-judgmental space tailored to your unique needs.

Together, we can work toward resilience, healing, and a more fulfilling life. Reach out today to start your journey to well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in Person-Centered principles, emphasizing empathy, unconditional positive regard, and a collaborative relationship. I believe that each individual has the innate capacity for growth and healing, and I aim to create a safe, supportive environment that fosters self-awareness and empowerment.

In addition, I conduct assessments through a biopsychosocial-environmental-spiritual lens. This comprehensive perspective considers the interplay of biological, psychological, social, environmental, and spiritual factors influencing your well-being. By understanding the whole person within their broader context, I tailor interventions that support holistic healing and resilience.

Together, we will work towards your goals with compassion, respect, and an emphasis on your unique strengths and experiences.

What you can expect from me

In our initial session, you can expect a warm, supportive, and confidential environment where we will begin to explore your reasons for seeking support. I will ask about your background, experiences, and current concerns to better understand your unique situation. This is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about my approach and to share what you hope to achieve through therapy.

Together, we will establish goals and discuss the best path forward. My aim is to create a safe space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to start your journey toward healing and growth.

You don’t need to prepare anything in advance—just come as you are. I look forward to supporting you.
