Tiarah Bruno

Hello and welcome! I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and during my high school years I had the unique experience of moving often. This taught me how to adapt quickly and helped me develop a genuine openness to people from all walks of life. I bring that same flexibility and curiosity into my work as a counselor. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from A&T in North Carolina, and I primarily work with adults. Currently I am licensed as a counselor in both the states of North Carolina and New Jersey. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered on your journey.

Although I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my practice, I recognize that no single therapeutic approach is universally effective. I tailor interventions based on each client's unique needs, drawing from a variety of evidence-based techniques.

My style is down to earth, compassionate, and collaborative. I pull from evidence-based approaches but keep things human and relatable. Therapy isn't about being "fixed", it's about being real, getting unstuck, and building relationships that feel good and healthy.
