Great to meet you!

I have a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir Rhyne University. I decided to go back to school after realizing that I love listening, supporting and encouraging people. I am usually the person that people go to with problems, concerns or when they need to feel heard.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is to ask questions, listen and work towards understanding what the individual wants and needs. I enjoy learning about people and holding space for them so that they can move from where they are to where they would like to be.

What you can expect from me

One of my chief goals is to help my clients regain their hope. Often times Individuals seek out Therapy because they are stuck, usually in the deep dark muck. My goal is to help clients develop and utilize tools so that they can have a different experience or "get unstuck". I use a lot of different strategies such as CBT, DBT, Reality Therapy and Person Centered. I try to meet the individual where they are at and work with them towards movement of their emotions, thoughts and actions.
