Great to meet you!
Helping others has always been a deep passion of mine, and it continues to guide my purpose as a therapist. I am genuine, caring, and honest, and I bring a personable, lighthearted presence to the work while staying focused on helping clients achieve their goals.
As an African-American, heterosexual woman, my identity and lived experience inform the way I show up in the therapeutic space. I am intentional about practicing cultural competence, valuing diversity, and remaining mindful of the dynamics that arise when people from different backgrounds come together.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigating concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, behavioral challenges, grief and loss, learning difficulties, and parent-child relationship issues.
