Great to meet you!

I am a Clinical Psychologist with training in cognitive-behavioral, person-centered, and psychodynamic approaches. I specialize in working with young adults to address concerns such as anxiety, stress, self-esteem, school/work-related challenges, and trauma. My approach is warm, supportive, and culturally responsive, with a focus on helping clients build practical coping skills, gain insight, and develop the confidence to navigate life’s challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore their thoughts and experiences. I integrate cognitive-behavioral strategies to help clients identify and change unhelpful patterns, while also drawing from psychodynamic approaches to explore deeper emotional experiences and relational patterns.

I also incorporate solution-focused techniques to help clients build on their strengths and make meaningful, practical changes in their daily lives. My work is culturally sensitive and trauma-informed, and I tailor each session to meet the unique needs of the individual. Overall, my goal is to help clients gain insight, develop effective coping skills, and build confidence as they navigate life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be a welcoming and supportive space focused on getting to know them and understanding what brings them to therapy. I take time to learn about each client’s experiences, strengths, and goals, while also answering any questions they may have about the therapy process.

Together, we will begin identifying key concerns and discussing what the client hopes to gain from therapy. I aim to create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to be open and authentic. By the end of the session, clients can expect to have a clearer sense of next steps and initial goals for our work together.
