About Me

What should your client know about you?

Life can be challenging, but I’m here to help. My name is Tiffany, and I’m dual licensed as an LCMHC & a LCAS in NC & VA. I’ve been working in the mental health field for 13 years, helping children, adults, and families navigate life’s ups and downs. I believe everyone needs a non-judgmental person in their life to vent to, bounce ideas off of, and work through the unexpected challenges that life throws our way.

What is your approach to therapy?

While I primarily use the cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) model, I also incorporate solution-focused therapy into my practice. I specialize in treating addiction, depression, anxiety & trauma in people of all ages. I firmly believe that you’re never too far gone, and everyone deserves to enjoy life, find peace, and experience joy. I encourage you to focus on healing from past pain as you move forward toward brighter days. Life is too short to dwell on the past! While it may be easier said than done, it’s achievable for everyone.

Breathe, Darling. This is only a chapter, not your whole story. - C.S. Lewis

What can clients expect from their first session with you?

In our first session, we will talk about your background, your reasons for coming in, and how I can help. We will set goals together, and I will answer any questions you have. By the end, you will know what to expect from future sessions and how we will spend our time.
