Great to meet you!

I believe healing begins when you feel genuinely seen, heard, and understood. My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with an emphasis on creating a space where you can explore your experiences without judgment.

I specialize in working with adults navigating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and the lasting impact of difficult or overwhelming experiences. I recognize that our past experiences, relationships, identities, and environments can shape how we see ourselves and move through the world.

My therapeutic style balances warmth and support with thoughtful challenge. Rather than simply helping you manage symptoms, we will work together to understand the patterns beneath them, strengthen coping skills, and address experiences that may be keeping you from moving forward.

I integrate evidence-based and trauma-focused approaches, including EMDR, while tailoring treatment to your individual needs, goals, and readiness. You set the pace, and we work collaboratively toward meaningful and sustainable change.

Whether you're beginning therapy for the first time, returning after time away, or ready to work more deeply on longstanding concerns, my goal is to provide a supportive environment where you can heal, reconnect with yourself, and create a life that feels more aligned with who you are becoming..

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe meaningful healing begins with creating a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to explore your experiences at your own pace.

I integrate evidence-based approaches, including EMDR and other trauma-focused interventions, to help clients understand how past experiences may influence present-day emotions, relationships, behaviors, and beliefs. Together, we work to identify patterns, develop practical coping strategies, process difficult experiences, and build on your existing strengths.

I recognize that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I tailor treatment to your individual needs, goals, culture, and lived experiences while balancing support with thoughtful challenge. My goal is not simply to help you manage symptoms, but to support deeper healing, greater self-understanding, and lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to begin getting to know one another and create a foundation for our work together. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you hope will be different as a result of treatment.

I’ll ask questions about your history, current concerns, strengths, support system, and previous experiences with therapy while giving you space to share at a pace that feels comfortable. You do not have to tell your entire story or discuss difficult experiences before you are ready.

We’ll also begin identifying your goals and discuss therapeutic approaches that may be most appropriate for your needs. Most importantly, the first session gives you an opportunity to ask questions, experience my therapeutic style, and determine whether you feel comfortable moving forward together.
