Great to meet you!

You should know that I truly care. Therapy isn’t just my profession it’s my purpose. I believe that healing happens in safe, authentic relationships, and I’m committed to creating that space for every client who walks through my (virtual or physical) door.

I show up as a real person in the room: warm, honest, and down-to-earth. I’ll challenge you when needed, but always with compassion. I know life can be messy and heavy—and you don’t have to go through it alone.

I’m here to help you feel seen, heard, and supported while also giving you the tools to navigate life more confidently. You deserve peace, purpose, and people who understand—and I’d be honored to be part of your journey toward all three.

I am a graduate from VSU and Walden University.

I am licensed as a professional counselor in Virginia and Maryland.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is client-centered, collaborative, and rooted in real-life change. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy, because no two people are the same. I tailor our work to fit your unique story, goals, and needs, drawing from evidence-based techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care.

I create a space where you can feel safe to be vulnerable, challenged to grow, and supported every step of the way. We’ll explore patterns, build insight, and develop practical tools to help you manage emotions, improve relationships, and feel more in control of your life.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or relationship struggles, I work with compassion and directness to help you move forward with clarity and confidence. Therapy with me is about progress—not perfection.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave each session feeling heard, supported, and equipped. Whether we’re unpacking painful emotions, navigating relationship dynamics, or working through anxiety or past trauma, you'll gain more than just insight—you’ll walk away with tools you can actually use in your everyday life.

You can expect real conversations, honest feedback, and a safe space where growth is possible—even when things feel heavy. We’ll celebrate your progress, sit with your pain, and keep moving forward together at a pace that feels right for you.

Most of all, you can expect to rediscover your strength, your voice, and your ability to create the kind of life and relationships you truly want.
