Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with adults, children, adolescents, and families across North Carolina and South Carolina. Helping people heal has been my life's work — and that passion extends beyond the therapy room. I'm also the co-author of Your Feelings Matter: A Story for Children Who Have Witnessed Domestic Violence, a children's book close to my heart. When I'm not working, you'll likely find me traveling and soaking in new cultures.

My approach to therapy

My work is deeply rooted in trauma-informed care. I draw on approaches including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics, Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI), Motivational Interviewing, and Crisis Intervention — always alongside a Strength-Based and Solution-Focused lens. I believe every person already carries resilience within them, and my job is to help you access it.

What you can expect from me

From our very first session, I'm focused on getting to know you — your story, what's brought you to therapy, and what healing looks like for you. We'll work together to build a treatment plan that makes sense for your life, and I'll make sure you feel informed and supported every step of the way. You don't have to have it all figured out before we begin.
