Great to meet you!

My name is Tiffany Sutton, and I am a therapist based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I am passionate about helping individuals heal from difficult experiences and move toward a healthier, more balanced life. I believe therapy should be a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences without fear of judgment.

My professional background includes working with individuals who are experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. I have experience helping adolescents and adults process difficult experiences, develop healthier coping strategies, and build emotional resilience.

One of my primary treatment specialties is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy. EMDR is an evidence-based treatment that helps individuals process traumatic or distressing memories that may still be affecting their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Many clients who have experienced trauma, accidents, abuse, or other overwhelming life events find EMDR to be a powerful and effective approach for healing.

I work with individuals who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or burdened by past experiences that continue to impact their daily lives. My goal is to help clients process those experiences in a healthy way so they can move forward with greater confidence, emotional stability, and peace of mind.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, client-centered, and trauma-informed. I believe that every individual’s story is unique, and therapy should be tailored to meet each person’s specific needs and goals.

I primarily utilize EMDR therapy to help clients process traumatic memories and reduce the emotional distress connected to those experiences. EMDR works by helping the brain reprocess memories in a way that allows clients to move beyond the emotional intensity that may have been holding them back.

In addition to EMDR, I incorporate supportive counseling techniques and evidence-based strategies that help clients better understand their emotions, improve coping skills, and build healthier patterns in their lives.

My goal is to help clients not only work through past experiences but also gain the tools they need to manage stress, build confidence, and create positive change moving forward.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a comfortable and trusting therapeutic relationship. During this session, I will spend time getting to know you, learning about your experiences, and understanding what brought you to therapy.

We will discuss your current concerns, your personal history, and the goals you would like to work toward during treatment. I will also explain the therapy process, including how EMDR works and how it may be used as part of your treatment plan if it is appropriate for your needs.

My goal during the first session is to help you feel safe, supported, and understood. Together, we will begin developing a plan for therapy that focuses on your healing, personal growth, and overall well-being.
