Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Timberlee Young, LCSW, and I’m passionate about helping individuals navigate life’s challenges while building confidence, balance, and emotional wellness. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. My experience includes working with children, adolescents, and adults facing concerns related to anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, relationship difficulties, emotional regulation, and personal growth. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, authentic, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I strive to create a safe environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. I utilize evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, mindfulness techniques, and solution-focused interventions to help clients build healthy coping skills, improve self-awareness, and create meaningful change. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, authentic, and human. While we may work through difficult emotions and challenges, I also value humor, genuine connection, and creating a space where clients can feel comfortable being themselves.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel uncomfortable or even intimidating, and I want clients to know there is no pressure to have everything figured out before showing up. In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other, discussing what brought you to therapy, and exploring what support may look like for you. You’re welcome to share at your own pace, and there is no “right” way to begin.

My goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, heard, and genuinely supported. I believe therapy should feel collaborative, authentic, and human. While we may process difficult emotions or life experiences, I also value humor, honesty, and creating an environment where clients can feel comfortable being themselves without fear of judgment.
