Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Tim, and I am an LCPC! I help people who have experienced traumatic events, anxiety, grief, and the difficulties that follow, such as low motivation, racing thoughts when trying to sleep, muscle tension, or feeling frustrated or lost in life. As a trauma and grief therapist, I have several years of experience and tools to help you! I believe that there is no growth without challenge, and I have embodied that belief by spending the past several years furthering my education in the field of psychology. I received my Master of Science in Clinical and Professional Counseling from Loyola University Maryland. I have spent several years gaining experience in providing psychotherapy and incorporating nature into my work, most notably by helping Native Americans in Baltimore City and working with the Center for Nature-Informed Therapy. I primarily assist individuals in the medical community, including teens, young adults, emergency services personnel, and military personnel.

My approach to therapy

I help people by focusing on the body as well as the mind; targeting stress and finding ways to release it is just as important as processing one's thoughts and feelings. Each of our issues, and the body's response to it, looks different for each person. My goal is to process these emotions and find ways for the body to release them. As we work through our emotions, we often find ourselves feeling at ease. I incorporate nature into my work and find ways that nature can help heal us. My caring and honest approach helps people to identify what they are feeling and thinking, and how to move forward.

What you can expect from me

My calming presence creates a safe environment where people feel themselves and feel heard, safe, and warm. From confronting your fears to reclaiming peace of mind, I'm here to help build the blueprint of your success. My goal for my clients is to help them reach the best version of themselves. Reaching out for help can be hard, but I believe that there is no growth without challenge, and change is always possible. If you feel that we would be a good fit, I would be happy to connect!
