Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Tim Webb, LPC, LCMHC. I've been a behavioral health clinician 37 years with a BA from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Counseling Master's from Wake Forest University. I provide individual, group and family counseling services with a focus on trauma, substance use, suicidal thoughts and adults experiencing life transitions. Incorporating EMDR, CBT and Motivational Interviewing into a holistic and eclectic approach, my clients make significant progress. As a former firefighter and Emergency Room clinician, I understand many of the unique experiences of both first responders and Veterans. Outside of counseling, I've competed in powerlifting, have boxed and enjoy spending time with my fiancé and our families.

My approach to therapy

As a clinician, I approach each client and his or her unique circumstances individually. As an EMDR-trained clinician, I use an eclectic an holistic approach including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Spirituality (should the client choose). My EMDR clients especially find they are able to resolve past issues and move forward with a positive outlook on their lives & future. They report decreased anxiety, worry & fear with increased energy, motivation, joy and success in their lives.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we'll get to know each other as I seek to understand you and your unique issues and your goals for therapy Then, as we work together to develop a plan to meet those goals, I'll explain the various approaches we may use and how they work.
