Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward better mental health can feel overwhelming, especially when you're struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood changes, or everyday life stressors. I want you to know that you don't have to face these challenges alone. I'm Tina Cantrell, a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and I'm passionate about helping children, adolescents, and adults feel heard, understood, and supported. I believe mental health care should be personal, compassionate, and free of judgment. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming space where you feel comfortable sharing your concerns. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan that fits your unique needs and helps you move toward a healthier, happier, and more balanced life.

My approach to therapy

I believe quality mental health care begins with listening, understanding, and building a trusting relationship. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and centered around your individual needs. I take the time to understand your experiences, concerns, and goals so we can develop a personalized treatment plan together. Through thoughtful psychiatric evaluations, medication management when appropriate, education, and ongoing support, I strive to help you manage your symptoms and improve your quality of life. My goal is to empower you with the tools, confidence, and support needed to achieve lasting emotional wellness. Above all, I want you to feel heard, respected, and comfortable every step of the way.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you, understanding your concerns, and helping you feel comfortable taking this important step toward better mental health. I provide a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can openly share your experiences, challenges, and goals at your own pace. We'll discuss your symptoms, personal and medical history, and any previous treatments to better understand your needs. Together, we'll explore treatment options, including medication management when appropriate, and develop a personalized plan that supports your well-being. My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, respected, supported, and hopeful about the journey ahead.
