Tinamarie Schmidt has 20+ years of mental health experience, working with adults, adolescents, children and seniors in a variety of community environments. Tinamarie has been licensed since 2011, with direct clinical treatment experience with adults, military/veterans, first responders, and child welfare. Tinamarie has a variety of treatment interests but loves working with individuals experiencing low self-worth, anger management, mood disorders (anxiety and depression), trauma, relationship difficulties and substance abuse recovery needs.

Hi, Tinamarie here! I practice with a holistic, mind-body, and trauma-informed approach, infusing humor, sarcasm, and coaching into my therapy style. I definitely show up with you in the room and engage WITH you. Homework is not usually provided unless you, the patient, are onboard with it.

I have always told my clients that "if you aren't a little bit anxious walking in and a little bit tired walking out, then we need to dive a bit more below the surface". Clients have told me that I offer enthusiastic support and a life coach vibe while I infuse scientific and therapy components into the discussion.
