Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Tina (Sheng-Ting)! I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families across school-based, outpatient, and inpatient mental health settings. As a bilingual therapist, I provide therapy in both English and Mandarin Chinese. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes together.

My approach to therapy

My approach integrates evidence-based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and strengths-based approaches. Depending on your need and preferences, I may also incorporate creativity, reflective journaling, and expressive techniques to support self-exploration, emotional processing, and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a comfortable therapeutic relationship. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant background information, and what you hope to gain from treatment. We will set some goals and I will also answer any questions you may have about working together.
