I am a licensed professional counselor with a bachelors degree in social work and a masters degree in community mental health counseling. I am committed to helping folks who are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, psychiatric disorders and many other life challenges. I also have extensive experience in working with First Responders on a local and federal level. I have provided treatment and support services for individuals who have experienced life altering events which include but are not limited to infant loss, cancer, and end-of-life issues.

My approach to therapy

I utilize and integrative approach based on your specific therapeutic needs. My therapeutic approach is a systems oriented, person-centered, cognitive-behavioral approach, psychodynamic, and dialectic behavioral therapy approach.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a safe, warm, supportive environment. My sessions are client focused. Clients will experience an open-minded, caring environment, experience where they can learn strategies to improve one's quality of life. Clients feeling heard and understood is of the utmost importance. Clients can expect once a week sessions or more as clinically needed.
