Great to meet you!

I bring over 20 years of real-world experience to the room. My career hasn’t been spent just in offices; I’ve worked on the front lines in adolescent and adult homeless shelters, recovery programs, and public schools. I’m a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and Addictions-Informed Professional (CAIMHP), but more importantly, I’m someone who genuinely cares about helping you become grounded. My background in coaching and athletics heavily influences my work—I believe that when you find your passion and follow the path you’re meant to be on, life stops feeling like "work" and starts feeling aligned.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as "structured practice" for real life. My style is laid-back, relational, and collaborative. Drawing from my coaching background, I use tools like CBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based strategies as "drills" to build your mental resilience. We don't just talk about the hurdles; we prepare for them. Think of our sessions as the practice field and your life as "game time"—my goal is to equip you with the skills and confidence so that when challenges arise, you’re ready to handle them effectively.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a conversation that feels high on connection and low on clinical stiffness. My first priority is creating a safe, transparent space where you—or your teen—feel heard and understood without judgment. We’ll skip the "sterile" intake feel and instead have a real talk about what’s currently heavy in your life. By the end of the session, we’ll have the beginnings of a "practice plan" so you walk away with a clear sense of direction and a few immediate tools to help you feel more emotionally grounded.
