Great to meet you!

I have 10 years of clinical experience working with people at all stages of life, from young children to older adults. Areas of clinical expertise include the treatment of anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, disordered eating patterns, navigating difficult life challenges and transitions, and training and mentoring other clinicians. I am a Certified Clinical Supervisor certified in Maine to supervise Certified/Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors, and have extensive clinical expertise working with patients with Serious Mental Illness including thought disorders such as schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorder.

My approach to therapy

While therapy is targeted to the individual, my primary treatment modalities are a blend of Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

Therapy is an investment – of your time, of your resources, and of your energy. As a psychotherapist, it’s important to me that you feel this investment is well-spent. My therapy practice involves structured, evidence-based, goal-oriented sessions where your voice will always be heard. My practice is a trauma-informed environment where safety and trust are paramount to fostering change and growth.

What you can expect from me

Most people arrive at therapy because there is something they want to change about the way things are right now. Together, we will identify what your goals are, what is important to you, and what barriers are stopping you from moving in that direction. We will then collaboratively work to orient the compass of your life in a direction that aligns towards self-fulfillment and steady ground.
