Great to meet you!

I’m Toni Kittrell, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and before anything else, I show up as a real person. I believe therapy should feel like a safe space where you don’t have to wear a mask or feel judged, a space where you’re truly seen and heard. My approach is honest, warm, and straightforward. I don’t believe in letting labels define you. Instead, I focus on listening, reflecting, and walking with you through the ups and downs of life. Whether you’re dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, or major life changes, my goal is to help you sort through what feels heavy so you can move toward clarity, healing, and peace.

My approach to therapy

My approach is honest, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a safe space where you can take off the mask and be yourself without judgment. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, and mindfulness, but I always tailor the process to fit your unique needs and goals. Together, we’ll focus on making sense of what feels heavy, breaking unhelpful patterns, and building practical tools that help you create lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll keep it simple, I want to get to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you here, what feels important to you right now, and what you’d like to see change. I’ll ask some background questions to get a sense of your past and present experiences, but it won’t feel like an interrogation, it’s just a conversation. From there, we’ll start building a plan that fits you and your goals. There’s always space for you to ask questions about me, the therapy process, or anything you’re unsure about. If you feel comfortable moving forward, we’ll schedule future sessions and begin the work of making real progress together.
