Tonia Caselman holds a Masters Degree in clinical social work and a PhD in Human Development. She is licensed in the state of New Mexico and has worked in a myriad of settings (inpatient, outpatient, residential, hospice and the university), helping clients and teaching future therapists. She has written several treatment manuals and created several therapeutic games for children. Her specialties include family therapy, women's issues, children/adolescents and grief/loss.

My approach to therapy

Dr. Caselman's approach to therapy is primarily Cognitive-Behavioral, but she is also skilled in Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy and Solution-focused Therapy.
