Great to meet you!

If you have been carrying grief, anxiety, relationship strain, or a substance use pattern that

keeps pulling you back, you deserve a space to set it all down without judgment. For more than

10 years I have worked with people navigating mental health and substance use concerns, and

for over 20 years I advocated alongside people with disabilities who needed access to the care

and programs that were already theirs. I bring that same commitment to our sessions. My focus

is family systems, trauma recovery, and building boundaries that genuinely hold.

My approach to therapy

I start with open conversation to understand where you are feeling stuck. From there I draw on

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to shift unhelpful thought patterns, Motivational

Interviewing to strengthen your own reasons to change, and a trauma-informed lens to identify

and gently work through emotional blocks. My goal is to give you tools you can actually use, so

that each session moves you measurably forward.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is a conversation, not an intake form. You will share what is on your mind, I will

ask a few questions, and together we will start to map out what you need. There is no pressure

to have it all figured out before you arrive. Most clients leave that first hour feeling heard, a little

lighter, and more confident that the path forward is findable. We will build the plan from there.
