Great to meet you!

My background includes helping individuals overcome various types of depression, anxiety, grief and trauma. I have worked with both families and couples on improving means of communication, which can lead to a better understanding and meaningful connection. I also have experience partnering with members of the LGBTQ community in their journey to becoming self affirmed and empowered. I have a Masters degree in Professional Counseling and a Masters degree in Education. I have worked in outpatient mental health setting as well as school and correctional facilities. My experience has allowed me to work with a very diverse client base.

My approach to therapy

We live in a world where our sense of self, safety and security is constantly being tested; causing us to have to navigate these challenges on a regular basis. Sometimes we can become overwhelmed and require assistance on this life journey. Being affirmed and empowered towards fostering resilience, self acceptance and authencity can be our stepping stone to realizing our value, strength and growth. I believe with the right environment and support, we have the capacity to overcome our challenges

As a therapist, my desire is to partner with you in your journey to personal healing, growth and transformation. My approach to therapy is client centered, meaning I beleive you are the expert on your life and experiences
