Great to meet you!

Some days, it can feel like you're managing a dozen things before you've even had a chance to think about yourself. You may be juggling work and family, struggling to stay focused with ADHD, worrying about your health or diabetes, or lying awake replaying everything you didn't get done that day. For women especially, constantly being the dependable one can leave little room to admit that you're anxious, exhausted, depressed, or still affected by something you've been through. I want therapy to be the place where your needs finally get some attention too.

My approach to therapy

We'll pay attention to the moments when life tends to unravel, like shutting down during family conflict, abandoning your routine when stress gets high, putting off important tasks until you're overwhelmed, or letting one difficult day convince you that you've failed completely. Together, we'll find realistic ways to interrupt those patterns, quiet the mental noise, and create habits that work with your actual life, including the emotional demands of managing a condition like diabetes. If trauma is part of your story, we can explore how it shaped the beliefs you carry about yourself without forcing you to revisit everything before you're ready.

What you can expect from me

Our first session isn't about squeezing your life into a checklist of symptoms. Tell me what Tuesday actually looks like when you're overwhelmed, what happens when your family needs more than you have to give, or what keeps running through your mind when you should be sleeping. We'll figure out which parts of life are taking the most out of you and what feeling better would genuinely look like. You should leave with a clearer starting point, not another expectation to live up to.
