Great to meet you!

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I am passionate about helping individuals, children, and families achieve greater well-being and resilience. With experience working in diverse clinical settings—including school-based programs—I am committed to expanding access to quality mental health care for all ages. My recent completion of my Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy (DMFT) has further strengthened my skills and deepened my commitment to supporting clients during life's transitions. I look forward to bringing that expertise to my private practice through Headway. Clients will find me to be approachable, supportive, and focused on developing a strong therapeutic relationship.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative and grounded in evidence-based practices, tailored to the unique needs of each client. I believe in empowering my clients, helping them gain more control over the services they receive and the progress they make. I am particularly enthusiastic about working with children and plan to integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into my practice, especially as I complete additional specialized training. I also value diversity of experience and continuously seek professional growth, as recommended by my mentors.

What you can expect from me

During our first session together, clients can expect a warm, welcoming environment where they feel heard and valued. I will take time to learn about your goals for therapy, your individual story, and what you are hoping to achieve through our work. The first session will include an intake assessment to better understand your needs and begin to map out a collaborative plan for your care. My aim is to ensure you leave that first session with a sense of direction, clarity about next steps, and confidence that you are in a supportive, client-centered partnership.
