Great to meet you!

I've always been interested in the mental health field, which led me to determine my path in my college education. I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I became licensed in the State of Hawai'i as a mental health counselor and a nationally certified counselor from the National Board of Certified Counseling. I specialize working with those who experience anxiety, depression, adjustment/transition issues; and those in need of stress management and anger management.

My approach to therapy

I use an array of theoretical approaches, which I determine based on your goals and needs. My theoretical approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Applied Behavioral Analysis interventions, Person-centered therapy, Art Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief therapy, and Anger Management.

What you can expect from me

The first session focuses on building rapport and getting to know each other. We may discuss self-care and emergency resources. Overall, it's our first meeting and a way to gauge what direction you'd like to go in your journey.
